Description
This course focuses on the process of creating different landscapes and captivating sceneries applying different art painting styles.
Class requirement:
For this class you will need the following materials:
- Acrylic paints (one set- red, yellow, blue, white, orange, violet, green, black), white paint – double the quantity. (preferably one tube 50 ml)
- Paper for acrylic OR canvas panel OR stretched canvas (At least 8×10 inches, max 10×14 ) 5 pieces.
- Extra bond paper for practice.
- Brushes (Flat, pointed)
- Mixing plate (any plastic container or paper plate)
- Rags/ paper towel
- Water container
Instructor
Teacher Ben Javier is an artist with extensive skills in visual communication, he has decades of experience in painting and drawing, and his artworks include murals, mixed media artwork, and production/stage design. As an art teacher, he understands that art is a form of self-expression and a tool to convey one’s feelings and emotions. It gives an opportunity for people to reflect and bring self-awareness as they create artwork, thus promoting wellness and mental health. His talent was nurtured by his art teachers in grade school and was further developed. He pursued his art studies at the University of the Philippines Diliman, taking up Visual Communication.

Frequency: Once a week (Mon)
Schedules :
- Pencil Drawing – 10:30AM-12:00PM (90 minutes)
- Oil Pastel Drawing – 12:30-2:30PM (120 minutes)
- Acrylic Painting – 3:00-5:00PM (120 minutes)
Course Level: No prior knowledge required to attend this class.
Any changes on the start date of classes will be announced in advance. Once you are officially enrolled, a separate email will be sent, including the start of classes, calendar, schedules, and other important reminders. You will be added to the Class Viber Group wherein all important announcements and coordination happen, for easier communication.
